Z2 Women's VIP Track Day - June 15, 2014

Registration is open for Z2's Women's VIP Track Day on June 15. Price is $250 which includes lunch/t-shirt/raffle tix, so riders do not need to pay for that separately. Non-riders can purchase just the Women's VIP package for $25.

Track config this year will include the new Thunderhill West (full 5-mile course).

I must admit, I'm a little curious why THAT particular weekend is $100 more than every other THill weekend unless it's just due to them having the full track.

Hi all. Yeah, the price goes up quite a bit when we run both sections at the same time. Thunderhill intends to manage both sections as two complete tracks with all the associated fees so if one organizer wants to run the entire 5 miles, we essentially have to rent two tracks. I know it's a bunch more money than usual but we're working hard to keep it as reasonable as we possibly can. We're the first moto provider running the whole track, we're the only ones doing it on a weekend, and we're doing it in June before it gets mega-hot.

As you know Sunday is also Z2's annual Women's VIP event. New this year: if you are riding on Sunday, you don't have to add the special Women's VIP group to your reservation. We're covering all that extra stuff for you. Only supporters and other other non-riding women should sign up for that group.

More good stuff: if you sign up for both days, you save $75. Also, since we'll be there on Saturday, the paddock will be open for camping Saturday night. Show up any time before midnight and camp if you want.

We're working to make this weekend extra fun with special stuff planned since it's such a big deal (new track, Women's Day, etc.). More info soon but feel free to email me any questions: david@z2trackdays.com.

Ok, so I'm a dork who did not look at the calendar to see that this is Father's Day weekend. I will be attending my family's annual Father's Day weekend camping trip instead.

I am going to be riding BOTH days so will be up there already on Saturday. If anyone wants to go but needs trailer space, I can haul up a 2nd bike but I need to have it loaded on my trailer in Vacaville Friday night.

I already have a room booked at baymont. Double room..me and my guy will take one bed. He's a snorer big time so earplugs are needed! If you want some space in room, let me know!!

Hope to see some of you ladies out there! 5 miles of track and 5 miles of smiles!! Can't beat it!!!

Is it just the two of you this year? Anyone else riding/supporting?

Kelly..expect HOT! I was just there last Friday and it was pleasantly in the lower 90's. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a cooling vest and skull cap that you soak in ice water between each sessions..put them on just before you head out. The track temp is way higher than ambient temp as you know..so you bake out there no matter what but the cooling vest helps me.

I also now drink a blend of gatorade and pedialyte. I take two bottles of pedialyte with two bottles of gatorade and mix in a big closed pitcher bottle and keep in my ice chest and pour a glass between each session. I have not gotten heat exhaustion since that one VIP day where you did also! I didn't have cooling vests though I was drinking more than I saw most drink.

Don't forget to start drinking fluids heavily a few days before minimum.

I know you are a track girl and know this, but bares repeating since motorcycle days are different than car days.

Let me know where you all plan to pit. I won't go under the canopy cuz I need electricity for my tire warmers..why suck up gas with a generator when I get free stuff elsewhere on the track!

Don't forget the tutu's!!!!
