Girls Night Out! - Saturday, November 26

#1 Post by Fanny Fligurl » Sat Nov 19, 2011 1:46 pm

It's been awhile since we all shook our tail-feathers until the weeeee hours of the morning together. I'm thinking CU invasion at either Ruby Skye or Temple. It's always a late night/early morning, as we hit up the local greasy spoon for breakfast in the A.M. So put your big girl panties on, and let's dance all night!

Saturday, November 26. Who's in?

What time are you looking at starting? If I can get Sunday off work, I'll go, but Saturday is a black-out day aka everyone WILL work. I'd only be in for clubbing, can't really swing a cover and dinner (well, unless I dip into my trackday savings which I'm not willing to do right now).

Ok, so Ruby Skye is OUT, as they're hosting some played out Alice in Wonderland party on 11/26. My head just might explode if I have to dress up like that AGAIN in 2011.

So Temple it is! Good music line-up on this night, $20 cover. However, Anamarie & I are working on reducing the cover so just give us some time. We have to be there before 11pm, so I'm thinking we should all meet at BUTTER BAR @ 10pm, have a drink, then head to Temple.

Looks like due to Thanksgiving and a horse transport (which I cannot cancel) I'm having to work both Saturday and Sunday, which means that I won't be able to switch since there's no day to switch for.

I'll just have to catch you all the next time around.

As I was telling Amy yesterday at IMS I actually was able to pick my normal shift back up on Sat (Daycare lady took all holiday weekend off so it left me to pto until I found sitters) and so now that I canceled the pto for Sat I'm back on the schedule. BUT because of it being "Thanksgiving" weekend, (Holiday pay and double time hours on Sat), its normally slow because people are not out causing trouble. That may make our overall unit status large where they may be browning out units/ sending people home. If I get the choice to go home and my mom is willing to pick up the kids from my man (I don't think its fair that he watches them if I'm out clubbing since hes doing me a favor so I can rail in the extra $$ for X-mas and they overwhelm him a tad) and keep them overnight for me I'll be fo sho shaking these tail feathers!!! :)

Wish I could join you ladies, but I'll be in Santa Barbara from Weds - Sun.

Have a drink (or three!) for me. :)
