Just checked the extended forecast for Bridgeport: Sunny, high in the low 80's, low in the upper 40's and zero percent chance of rain! Can.Not.Wait.

Hi Amy,

I was all over that area last weekend so I left a little road report on barf. I also posted a few pics.

Have fun out there!

Thanks, great pictures. Yes, we love the senery. Last year on 108 there was still snow so it made our ride that much more beautiful. We are all excited;) I'm glad you guys enjoyed the area and are back safe.

Yep, we made it back safe, and without yellow trophies. (not that we broke the speed limit) 8-)

We were up there last year also and saw all the snow. We stayed in Coleville (Meadowcliff Inn) both times and took a quick trip over the border for dinner in Topaz. Meadowcliff Inn was really clean and the staff (per our request) put us on the far end so we could hang out outside and have a few beers without disturbing anyone. Good times!

Love the photos!
And great to know about Meadowcliff Inn. My husband and I spend quite a bit of time out there (between Gardnerville, NV and Bridgeport) mostly camping, but it's always nice to know about good motels.
