under the glassie, cool, translucent wave,
in twisted braids of lillies knitting
the loose train of thy amber-dropping hair.

Can those of you attending be sure to invite other ladies to the June overnight ride please!

Re: Guideras Girls Ride
Looks like a straight shot up 80 to 50 for me...about 60 miles from Fairfield to Folsom.
If anyone wants to meet at my house beforehand and ride up together, let me know. Looks we would need about an hour door to door from here..
Probably can handle some overnighters here as well if anyone wants!
Gonna see if I can coax a few of my local new lady rider friends to join us..they are all fairly new so not sure how much slab they will want to do!

Amy, this is for South Bay girlie and others that want to travel this route. We can then swoop you up at 76 on Yosemite in Manteca/hwy 99.
Graciella, we need to find a spot for us to connect probable Hammer/99 Cheveron gas or Kettleman (HWY12)/HWY 99 in Lodi 76 gas.

I'll definitely meet up with you sis in Fairfield. And I might take you up on the overnight thing too. I wouldn't have to be "awake" quite so early. And yes, try to get recruits. It sounds like fun and would be good for them to see and meet more female riders.maygoddess wrote:Looks like a straight shot up 80 to 50 for me...about 60 miles from Fairfield to Folsom.

Amy, lets meet at 76 gas station on Yosemite in Manteca off hwy 99. Its across Black Bear Diner. (where we met last year for Wrens ride)
meet at 8am, is this ok?
ALSO: I didnt sign up for a led ride, where we suppose to? Are we making our own route to the Park?

I missed the deadline and the registration is closed. I have sent them an email to see if it is ok to show up anyway. We will see what they have to say....Fanny Fligurl wrote:REMINDER TO ALL: MAY 5 IS DEADLINE TO REGISTER![/b][/color]

Re: Guideras Girls Ride
Ladies, the bad news for me is that I'm going to pass on tomorrow. My knee hasn't been doing too well. It's finally not so numb anymore. So I'm going to take it easy this weeked and off bike.
The good news is that Jen is going to take my place!
Have fun and represent well (as you all do)
