Hey CU ladies
Hi ladies of CU!
I'm excited to be posting tonight. I've been following your site for a few months and I'm impressed with your club - can't wait to meet some of you soon.
I bought an '09 Ninja 250 in Sept, and I've had a scooter for several years. I love the bike and try to ride most days. I've been on some rides along Hwy 1 and up to Grizzly Peak. I've joined a few rides with another womens group and keep a decent speed for being a newb.
I can't explain why, but I most enjoy riding with other women. I'd love to be a "hangaround" with CU if you'll let me! Some of your monthly rides are intimidatingly long, especially the ones so far from SF. Sunday will be a good intro ride for me and again, looking forward to meeting you all.
P.S. I live and work in San Francisco.

Re: Hey CU ladies
Yaaaaaaay, you made it to the site Jen! I'm so excited to meet you on Sunday, and try not to stress about long distance rides. They're challenging at first, but before you know it, you'll be racking up more miles than you realize! The two-fiddy is pretty comfy too, so you're already a step ahead of us "fetal position" riders.
We have a few girls in Oakland that you may be able to hitch a ride out with, that way you don't have to fly solo to SJ.
Chill (Rachelle) - Can you make arrangements to hook up with Jen?

Thanks for the warm welcome!
That sounds great - riding down to SJ with others.

Welcome to the forum! Looking forward to meeting you on Sunday!
Some of the rides can seem intimidating at first, but it doesn't take long to get used to them :D

Hi Jen. Welcome
Unfortunately I won't be riding from Oakland this time but I hope that doesn't keep you away. There will undoubtedly be some folks to ride home with tho.
See you Sunday!

Thanks Des and Anamarie! I had an awesome time though I froze my buns off coming home.
I can see how close-knit your 'family' is and it was cool to be a part of it. You'll definitely see me at future rides.
Hey Harley! Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I'm from northwest Montana.
