Re: March 10th Ride: Napa Valley and Beyond

I am grateful Sarah pointed it out to me. Yeah, I don't know what to say. It won't be a safety speech. I don't even listen to them. Even when I give the speech.

Re: March 10th Ride: Napa Valley and Beyond

Jen, what you lack in upper body strength, which sounded serious when it first came up, you make up for with a sense of humor. However your humor could be fine tuned. You pleaded with your husband to beat me up not once but twice. He replied that a verbal beat down would have to do. Take a deep brea...

Re: March CU ride

Sabrina makes a group look very very good. Usually it is just Amy who never has a bad picture day. If you have seen the latest CU calendar you have seen the exception to that. Sorry Amy, but just one bad picture in your life ain't bad. Mike, that sexy picture of you and me should be in a CU calendar...

Re: March 10th Ride: Napa Valley and Beyond

It was a fun day. It wasn't too hot. I second doing it in March forever, or until we need four wheels to keep our balance. Thank you Sabre Sarah for pointing out that my bike tire was showing cord. I made it home safely. My girlfriend is at Cycle Gear in Hayward as I type. They have my tires on sale...

Re: Finally on the site

It has probably been a wee bit scary but a whole lot obvious that I am glad you decided to hang out with this group of motorcycle mamas.

Re: Motorcycle towing cradle?

It appears that once the bike is properly secured it would be fairly easy with the right amount of clutch and throttle to get the truck to wheelie.

getting old ?

I very quietly confided to my best friend that I was having an affair. She turned to me and asked, 'Are you having it catered'? And that, my friend, is the definition of 'OLD'! ~ ~ ~ Just before the funeral services, the undertaker came up to the very elderly widow and asked, 'How old was your husba...

Merry Christmas to you to Mike. From here on every day will be light a little longer. If you don't get the bike you want for Christmas get the one you have ready.

ABS

This is from an article a few years old. I like my ABS.

"The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety said that the fatal crash rate involving motorcycles equipped with optional antilock brakes, or ABS, was 38 percent lower than the rate involving similar motorcycles without the systems."
